The Fiqh al-Ṭawāri’ Thoughts of ‘Abd Allah Bin Bayyah on the Management of Worship during the COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic that struck the world recently had left a huge impact on all sectors of life. outbreak virus resulted in no-physical contact form human interaction as measure curbing its cycle transmission. was also felt religious practice and worship due to closure mosques which suspension congregational prayers other activities. This state affairs led discord spirit community since new rulings conflicted with their interests. There were public disputes over provisions Islamic primary rulings, especially matters worship, albeit these declared by authorities such fatwa institution. Thus, purpose this study identify principles during an epidemic using fiqh al-ṭawāri’ discourse framework Shaykh ‘Abd Allah bin Bayyah. Based principles, assessment conducted conflicting Malaysia epidemic. To achieve objective, library data from Fiqh Discourse held 2020 fully used. Data analysed inductively, deductively comparatively content analysis method. It concluded al ṭawāri’ not based circumstances epidemic, instead it outcome ijtihad reliable source methodology Sharia.
